About Me
Senior Software Engineer — full-stack systems and applied AI. Open to senior and staff roles, and to consulting through Cloudelipute LLC.
AI Engineering
Most recently a Senior Software Engineer at MarutAI, an NVIDIA- and Google-backed AI platform startup, where I built the flagship developer product from zero as primary author — a 102,000-line desktop IDE — reporting to the CTO and holding one of two codebase-wide review seats. Before that, sole architect and engineer of a 400,000-line recruiting intelligence platform on Azure: 444 API endpoints, 69 Azure resources, six autonomous agents and a twelve-class orchestration framework, with AI inference costs cut 90 percent by prompt caching. I think in systems — five years in the Navy operating P-3C acoustic sensor systems, tracking submarines, taught me that reliability isn't a feature, it's the baseline. This portfolio is the same approach applied to open problems: Stockfish compiled to WebAssembly so chess runs with no server round-trip, a multi-provider vision pipeline with automatic failover, and a RAG agent that scrapes, synthesizes, and cites.
Woodworking
I build furniture and home additions by hand — framing, joinery, finishing. The 500+ photos in the gallery are real projects: workbenches, shelving, trim carpentry, a full basement buildout. Slow, unforgiving work that rewards measurement and planning — habits that transfer directly to writing reliable software.
Philosophy
I care about building things that work — whether that means a dovetail joint that holds without fasteners or an inference pipeline that stays up at 3 a.m. Cloudelipute LLC is the vehicle I ship independent products and consulting work through; it is not a substitute for a team, and I am actively looking to join one. This portfolio is a working demo, not a slide deck. Every project runs live and every API call is real. Download my resume, or get in touch.
