Terms of Service
Effective: March 18, 2026 · Last updated: May 27, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of craftedbydaniel.com (the “Site”), operated by Daniel A. Romitelli Jr. doing business as Crafted By Daniel (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Content & Access
All content on the Site — including the blog, the audiobook landing page, and the 13-part series “How to Architect an Enterprise AI System (And Why the Engineer Still Matters)” — is freely available to read. No purchase, subscription, or account is required to access written content. The companion audiobook is sold separately on third-party platforms (Spotify, Google Play, Gumroad) and is governed by those platforms' terms of sale.
2. Intellectual Property & Content Disclaimer
All written content, architectural diagrams, code examples, and illustrations on the Site are © 2026 Daniel A. Romitelli Jr. All rights reserved.
The series teaches the philosophy and discipline of Agentic Engineering — circuit breakers, multi-tier enrichment cascades, deterministic routing, SKIP LOCKED queue patterns, dual-channel streaming, and the structural decisions required to make AI resilient in enterprise environments.
These are established principles of computer science and software engineering. They are not proprietary to any company, product, client, or employer — past, present, or future.
When data structures appear in the series, they are textbook examples of standard software engineering: a JSON schema with universal contact fields, a Postgres queue table with claimed_at, attempts, max_attempts. When code logic is discussed, it describes design patterns — boolean gates, SHA-256 fingerprinting, keyword-based query routing — not trade secrets.
The series contains no proprietary source code, no verbatim JSON schemas from any production system, and no confidential information belonging to any organization. All industry examples use generic, illustrative scenarios to demonstrate architectural logic without exposing any client, employer, or proprietary data.
This is not a copy-and-paste solution. It is a detailed walkthrough of how a systems thinker breaks down the hardest structural decisions in enterprise AI — and why each one was made.
